La Mer – Gulf-Front Home
La Mer is a new gulf front home in Destin with six bedrooms that accommodates up to 14 fortunate guests. It shares this premier beachfront placement with a matching seven-bedroom home right next door named Beaux Soleil that accommodates 16. Both of these beachfront homes may be rented together under the name Mer Le Soleil. This scenic gulf locale is very close to the Destin/Miramar Beach town line which makes it equally close to lots of fun in both places.
On the first-floor beach level is a regal entry foyer as well as a 6×12 private pool and a balcony that overlooks the shimmering gulf. This level also offers covered parking for up to four vehicles.
The open living area is on the second floor and features two walls of windows and glass balcony doors that provide breathtaking sparkling vistas of the gorgeous gulf. The views extend as far as one can see into the southern horizon as well as towards the east where you may experience a serene sunrise over the water from fall until early spring. An elegant ensemble of plush furnishings includes a cream colored couch, a matching armchair and two chic striped accent chairs that face a wall mounted TV above a dormant fireplace. A half bath serves as a convenient powder room. A long gracious dining table with six formal high backed chairs sit beside a row of gulf view windows and beneath a stylish vintage chandelier. A table and chairs on the beachfront balcony allow guests to enjoy drinks with meals while relishing the jewel-toned gulf. Five beautiful intricately carved decorative chairs nearby sit beside a white Carrera marble-topped bar facing the state of the art kitchen that features bright custom cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. A charming Guest Bedroom on this floor has a queen sized bed, a beach balcony and an en suite bath.
The wonderful Master Bedroom with a king sized bed, another Guest Bedroom featuring a queen sized bed and a Kid’s Bunk Room with two full beds are on the third floor. All of these bedrooms include a luxury bath en suite and TVs for viewing pleasure. The Master Suite also includes a romantic gulf front balcony.
The top level features a spacious second living area with upscale comfortable white furnishings, a large wall mounted TV, a Wet Bar, and an Observation Balcony to enjoy the panoramic views and favorite drinks. A lovely Guest Bedroom on this floor includes a queen-sized bed while the full Bunk Room has access to a full hall bath.
This fantastic location just east of Destiny By The Sea and very close to gulf front restaurants and fun friendly beach bars along this scenic route. In fact, you can walk to the long-established Captain Dave’s, which is right next door and the popular Crab Trap is just a short stroll down the beach. Grocery stores, wine outlets and the popular Destin Commons retail complex are minutes away towards the east. Minutes away toward the east are additional grocery stores and bargain shopping at the Silver Sands Premium Outlets – which is one of the nations’ largest discount designer centers. The charming Village of Baytowne Wharf and upscale Grand Boulevard are minutes away at Sandestin with abundant restaurants, lively bars, specialty shops, free concerts, and fun festivals.
